Our Social Media is done at the Unit level (both Troop – ages 11-17, and Pack – ages 5-10). We do a few joint events throughout the year and have a large number of families with Scouts in both units.
We are here to answer any questions you may have. Reach out to us, and we’ll respond as soon as we can.
New Member Coordinator Elaine (pictured above, blue top) is the mother of a Bear Cub Scout, a Merit Badge Counselor, a veteran police officer, US Army wife, and committed to increasing opportunities to historically excluded communities to participate in outdoor activities. When you call our number, she’s usually the lovely human who answers.
Committee Chair Becca (pictured above, red top) is also the Events Chair, runs the Troop logistics and is also a seasoned Scouter. She’s run Scout units for 7 years, knows the area campsites bookings, and has a similar pedigree of Scouting trainings. She’s a stay at home Mom with a full time volunteer load, former Computer Engineer and Proposal Manager, Mom to the same two Scouts as Scoutmaster Harvey, and generally the ‘weird Mom’ to Tessa’s ‘cool Mom’. She’s not a big talker but is glad to answer questions and assist onboarding new families. Becca is an organizational and logistical force for good and runs the Troop at the top level.
Scoutmaster Harvey (pictured above) can answer all your Scouting questions. He’s an Eagle Scout, father to a Life Scout son and Arrow of Light Scout daughter, Vigil member of Order of the Arrow, past Cubmaster of 5 years, past Assistant Scoutmaster for 3 years, has completed dozens of Scouting trainings, and is a big kid at heart. His professional life as an embedded software engineer puts him squarely behind a computer every day so he appreciates every moment outside.
Scoutmaster Tessa (pictured above) is also our Advancement Chair, mother of four: three boys, one a Scout, one Arrow of Light daughter, Data Analyst for the Juvenile Welfare Board, former Coast Guard, former Pinellas County School teacher, and our resident ‘cool Mom.’ Tessa lives life to its fullest, has a deeply compassionate heart, and has fallen in love with Scouting as an adult. She brings a ton of joy and leadership to her role as Scoutmaster.
